Softaculous Installation Prerequisite<\/h2>\n

Before installing Softaculous you have to make sure that ionCube Loaders are enabled on WHM on your control panel server. In order to install Softaculous on a VPS or a dedicated server with cPanel, you will need to perform the steps listed below:<\/p>\n

  1. Log into your WHM (as a root user).<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to Server Configuration then click Tweak Settings and navigate to the PHP tab and select ioncube for cPanel PHP Loader:

  3. Click on the Save button<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Install Softaculous
    \n <\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Log into your server via SSH and run the following commands one by one
      \n <\/strong>wget -N http:\/\/files.softaculous.com\/install.sh <\/code>
      \n Once the installation file is downloaded, run the following commands:
      \n chmod 755 install.sh .\/install.sh <\/code>
      \n then once Softaculous installation is completed. The following congratulation message should appear in your command line

    2. Now Softaculous will apear on WHM , to view it navigate to the Plugins menu and click on the Softaculous – Instant Installs menu:

      If suPHP is enabled on your server, the following modification should be applied so that Softaculous sets the correct permissions for writable files and folders:
      \n Navigate to the Settings menu in Softaculous
      \n Edit CHMOD Files to 0644 and CHMOD Directories to 0755
