{"id":747,"date":"2017-02-18T17:08:24","date_gmt":"2017-02-18T17:08:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.xsofthost.com\/help\/?p=747"},"modified":"2017-02-18T23:31:04","modified_gmt":"2017-02-18T23:31:04","slug":"how-to-terminate-a-cpanel-or-reseller-accounts-within-whm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xsofthost.com\/help\/how-to-terminate-a-cpanel-or-reseller-accounts-within-whm\/","title":{"rendered":"How To Terminate A cPanel Or Reseller Accounts within WHM"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>WHM Permanently Terminate an Accounts<\/h2>\n<p><strong>WHM<\/strong> interface allow the users with terminate permissions to remove cPanel or WHM reseller account and allow you to keep the DNS zone of accounts even if you terminate and delete the account.To Terminate an accounts :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Login to <strong>WHM<\/strong> Control panel.<\/li>\n<li>Navigate <strong>Home<\/strong> \u00bb<strong>Multi Account Functions<\/strong> \u00bb<strong>Terminate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>From the Terminate Accounts page , you can find the list of all WHM\/cPanel accounts , you have an option to filter the list by typing your keywords in the search textbox , the filter will apply to any columns in the list including &#8220;Username,Domain,Owner, Account State&#8221; ,with checkbox\u00a0<strong>Show only suspended accounts<\/strong> option to display only suspended accounts,now you two options:\n<ol>\n<li>terminate an individual account, then perform the following steps:\n<ol>\n<li>To keep a domain&#8217;s DNS zone on your server, select the associated checkbox in the\u00a0<em>Keep DNS Zone<\/em>\u00a0column.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Remove\u00a0<\/strong>in the associated checkbox in that account&#8217;s row.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Yes, delete this account<\/strong> to confirm that you wish to remove the account.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>To terminate multiple accounts from your server, perform the following steps:\n<ol>\n<li>Select the checkboxes that correspond to the accounts that you wish to remove.\n<ul>\n<li>To keep a domain&#8217;s DNS zone on your server, select the associated checkbox in the <em>Keep DNS Zone<\/em> column.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Remove selected accounts.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Yes, delete these accounts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"well well-sm  oscitas-bootstrap-container text-red\">You should keep in mined , that you <em><strong>cannot undo<\/strong><\/em> the account termination action.The system permanently deletes that account\u2019s data from the server. So be careful while terminate the account.<\/div>\n<h3>Why Keep the DNS zones<\/h3>\n<p>When you terminate an account, you can keep the domain&#8217;s zone file in the DNS server.
