CodeGuard Website Backup is the perfect accompaniment to any existing backup strategy. With CodeGuard website backup, you enable customers to have an independent off-site backup performed and stored by a 3rd party that ensures they always have a copy of their website in the event of disaster.
With automated daily backups, using CodeGuard means deleted files are now recoverable, overwritten files are now obtainable, and if a site is hacked, the malware is easily removable. All of this with nothing to install.

Using the CodeGuard self service control panel, users can view backup history and initiate one-click automatic restores of either a single file or an entire website on-demand. Manual restores can also be performed via a zip file download option.

 

CodeGuard also monitors websites they backup for malware and notifies users whenever malicious code is detected along with providing the option to restore to the latest clean backup.

With an automatic restore, users can choose either a single file or an entire website. In either case, CodeGuard will examine a website and only replace files which have changed optimising the restore time.
Backups are stored on Amazon Web Services Simple Storage System, known as S3. S3 boasts object durability levels of 99.99%, achieved by storing redundant copies of data across multiple geographies and facilities.
