How to Import Mass email Accounts or Forwarders into cPanel

cPanel Address Importer is an important and efficient feature that allows you import a mass email accounts by using 2 types of files to create multiple email address or email forwarders for your account simultaneously. You may use Excel spreadsheet files (.xls) or a comma-separated values sheet, aka CSV file (.csv) to import the data. A CSV file is a plain text file that has been given a .csv extension. To start working on import email accounts:

  1. Login to your cPanel Control Panel using your Account details.
  2. From cPanel dashboard navigate to Email Section and click Address Importer icon



  3. On the Address Importer Page Follow instructions as bellow :
    1. Select what you would like to import : An option to select either import email address accounts list or email forwarder list.
    2. Locate CSV or XLS file on your computer:locate your csv or xls file depends of the option that you select on the first step the following showing you an example for both Email Account Import XLS file including Email Address field and the password and Quota in MB


  4. Then after select the file Tick Treat first row as column headers then Click Next button.


  5. The Address Importer Step 1 page showing you the result of filed mapping , you can confirm that each fields map the correct import formula like first xls column is for email address , the second one for password at the third one for Quota in MB,then click Next :

  6. After confirm the result in the next page and proceed the import function , you will see report for the Import process ,displaying you that all email accounts imported successfully .

Address Importer forwarders

For Address Importer forwarders we are going to use the csv file as bellow:The Next show an example for email forwarders import csv file including source email address and the destination forwarder email .

the Step 1 is little bit different on csv with new option for Select Delimiter  in our example is Comma (,)   and the the next steps are similar to the Address Importer for email accounts.
